  Pedestrians and Taxis Midtown is part of a series combining the figure with the cityscape.  These figures are crossing Eighth Avenue near Midtown around noon lunch hour.  The center of focus is easy to identify in this painting.  I often debate as to whether or not to have a center of interest.
