  Sidewalk in New York City is part of a series of urban landscape paintings.  This particular scene is near 40th and 8th in NYC.   Trying to simplify New York City images is more challenging than any other place.  The white buildings in the background blend with the crowd.  In contrast, the sidewalk vendors give a feeling of depth.
