Cityscape #50

  Cityscape #50 is part of a series of streetscapes.  These buildings are somewhere along Seventh Avenue and Thirty-Fifth Street in Manhattan last spring.  The streets are empty at this time because it was early on a Sunday morning.  In this painting I'm trying a lighter palette and looser brushwork.  Executing these paintings on linen rather than panel give it a very different look.
