The top painting is the large version(24 x 30) and the bottom painting is the smaller work (12 x 16). I did the smaller work about 3 or 4 months ago. I liked the way it looked and decided to do the larger version of it. I don't know how many people work this way, doing small scale versions before doing larger versions, but it is more economical for me. I don't how many times in the past I set out to do a large painting which I thought would be great. I spent a lot of time and money on it. But it didn't turn out as good as I thought it would.
