Hanger On

  Hanger On is part of a series that illustrates the female figure reading.  I use subdued colors in these subway scenes to better convey the mood of inside a subway car.  Isabel Bishop is an artist which I admire who did similar scenes.  As you looked at her work you could almost hear the rumblings of the subway car.
