  Flowing is part of a series to do with the entire process of cooking or dining.  This chef is pouring soup into a bowl at a Chinese Restaurant.  I was drawn to images from Chinese restaurants from Edward Hopper's paintings.  Although he never rendered images like this, he often made references to them.

  Confidential is part of a series to do with the female figure reading.  Most of these paintings in this series render only  one figure. Occasionally, I use two or more characters in rare instances.  The two figures are reading very closely to a classified listing in the newspaper.  But, what for ?  That's the subject of the entire painting.
