This image will post on January 2nd.  This image was done from a photograph of a small diner here in Chicago.  Photo was taken the day after Christmas about 4 years ago.  I did a series of these type of paintings which depicted small businesses.

A few more bfore I hit the road

Another image I will upload on New Year's Eve.  This is a small cityscape of my hometown Chicago.  These small cityscapes arequick studies that I use to make larger (30 x 40) paintings later. 

Vacation

 

I am getting ready to go on vacation.  But before I go, I will post 3 new images for the following week.  This particular image comes from a combination of photographs that I assembled. 

Tomorrow's Published Painting on DPW

This particular painting was done from a photograph taken about 5 years ago.  The photo was taken in NYC at Washington Square in late August.  There are two universities near Washington Square and one can find many students  hanging out and reading.
